Chadron High School's spring musical Fiddler on the Roof has started its practices for the performance in April.
The musical's cast consists of 36 members ranging from freshman to senior. This group of actors, dancers, and singers will recreate the story of Tevye, a poor milkman whose love, pride and faith help him face the oppression of turn-of-the century czarist Russia.
"I am so excited to start practicing and even more excited for performances," said director Wendy Mahr, "We have a great group of talented kids."
Not only is Mrs. Mahr excited for the musical, but the cast members are also excited. Claire Margetts, a freshman, states that she is excited because this is her first high school musical and Fiddler on the Roof is "such a cool show."
Emily Blaylock, a junior says, "I am excited because I will get to spend a lot of quality time with my friends and cast to get the musical together."
Chadron High school is excited to showcase Fiddler on the Roof as their spring musical and even more excited to show the talent the high school has.
